Saratoga Springs: A Wedding Venue Highlight

Looking for a wedding venue that fits you and your partner’s personality can be difficult. But if you and your fiancé would describe yourselves as outdoorsy or nature lovers you should definitely check out Saratoga Springs in Saratoga, California. Located in the South Bay just minutes from San Jose, this all inclusive venue is nestled in a forested canyon with a creek winding through it. It features three event sites to choose from depending the size of your guest list.

Long Bridge is the venue’s largest event site with a 500 guest capacity featuring a 1902 landmark, the stone arched bridge that carries the roadway above.

Cathedral Grove is the second largest event site that seats up to 300 guests. It is more shaded than Long Bridge and features a small wooden bridge over the creek tucked away in the back of the event site that is a stunning photo location.

The last, and smallest event site is Redwood Grove. This site can seat up to 150 guests. Each of these three event spaces includes a food prep area and beverage stations, ceremony arches, chandeliers and wooden picnic tables.

There are many beautiful nooks and crannies as well as grand spaces that make great back drops for photos with towering redwood and box elder trees, babbling brooks and bridges.

While there are several spaces at the venue to get ready for your big day, it is important to note that these are small spaces and wouldn’t be able to accommodate your bridal party’s hair and makeup services. These spaces are more intended for you to arrive with hair and makeup done where you can simply put on your dress or suit and accessories. These prep spaces include Nonni’s Cottage, an airstream camper and the Creekside conference room.

Alternately you could get ready in a hotel near by and arrive at the venue ready to go! Options for this just minutes away in downtown Saratoga include The Inn at Saratoga and Saratoga Oaks Lodge.

Important things to note about Saratoga Springs:

-Your DJ must be hired through the venue and be from their preferred list of vendors.

-This is not a private venue and there will likely be other weddings or events going on at the other sites at the same time as your own.

-Because other events sites will be in use on your wedding day you will only have access to certain photo op locations (Cathedral Grove and Long Bridge) typically during the first hour you are allowed on site. After 4:00pm the event spaces will only be accessible to the couples that booked them and their guests.

-This venue is pet friendly!
