I may be biased because I live in the beautiful city of Livermore, California and I got married at a local winery but I LOVE a winery wedding. It is timeless, the scenery is beautiful and of course, the wine is extraordinary.
I first met Rachel and Jacob when I took their first professional photos as a family of three when their son, Hudson, was 8 months old in 2023. I remember I accidentally referred to Jacob and Rachel as husband and wife and I distinctly remember the look Rachel gave Jacob – it was the “not yet, but soon right?” kind of look. Flash forward to summer of 2024 and I am asked to take their engagement photos and be their wedding photographer later that year!

Rachel and her ladies got ready at her parents house along with her son who was the cutest in his little tuxedo. Jacob got ready on the 3 Steves Winery property.
I always suggest doing a first look with my couples and I was so happy that Rachel and Jacob were on board to do one. Seeing your person and having a quiet moment together can really help calm your nerves. And of course you also get some beautiful portraits captured.
The couple added a twist at the end of their ceremony and did a coin toss to determine which last name they would share, his or hers.
The reception was warm (literally) and inviting with close to 100 flame lit candles. The arched signage gave a cohesive feel throughout and pulled every detail together. The neon sign above the sweetheart table was the cherry on top.
The couple kept the party going on the outdoor patio dancing with foam glow sticks and a cookie dessert table.
